A low-power three-phase motor usually leaves within a few working days of quote approval, with an insulation, resistance and no-load current report.
In detail
Rewinding is the workshop's core trade, not an add-on service. When an electric motor burns out, the first job is reading the original winding: turn count, wire gauge, pitch, connection and thermal class of the insulation. That record is what lets the rewound motor keep its torque, its rated current and its efficiency, instead of leaving in working order but drawing more power for the rest of its life.
With those data recorded we strip the damaged winding, clean and inspect the core, and rewind with magnet wire and class F or H insulation according to the working temperature. We finish with varnish impregnation, controlled baking and the electrical tests that document the result.

It depends on the power rating and on whether the core turned out to be damaged. A low-power three-phase motor usually leaves within a few working days once the quote is approved; larger ones take longer. The committed date goes in the quote in writing, not verbally.
As long as the core and the frame are sound, rewinding costs a fraction of replacing the motor and is delivered far sooner than an imported unit. If we find the core damaged or the frame compromised we tell you, and we compare both options before you spend.
Only if it is rewound badly. The loss appears when the wire gauge is changed, the turn count is altered, or the core is overheated to strip the winding. Respecting the original data and without burning the stator, the motor recovers essentially its nameplate efficiency.
We back the winding and the labour in writing, and we follow up after start-up. The term is stated on the service order.
